Kimone's passion for jewelry came about when she worked in a jewelry studio after graduating college. She started making unique pieces for herself and anyone that would inquire about them. A self-taught jewelry maker, she founded 84Gem, a line of contemporary and African inspired designs.

At 84Gem, Kimone creates conversation starter pieces to evoke a sense of power, strength, and confidence to the wearer. She believes that everyone deserves to not only feel and look beautiful but also to feel and look like their own individual selves.
