❤️We give Back 25% of VIP Profits
When women rise in the economy, the whole country rises.
We’ve partnered with Imani Collective to donate 25% of VIP profits to their Artisan Fund, supporting women artisans in Kenya.

Imani Collective started in a small village in Kenya, on Jenny's travels. As she got to know the families, she realized that the children who were struggling the most came from single-income homes where their mothers did not have many job opportunities.

Jenny decided to move to Kenya full time to learn from and invest in the community. Through broken English and Swahili, she and the sixteen women awkwardly laughed their way into a deep friendship and mutual partnership.

Why

Why shop women-owned?

With every purchase we make a statement about what we value. When we direct our dollars to small businesses helmed by women we have a direct impact on closing the capital gap.

What is the capital gap? It comes down to venture capital. Women receive less than 3% of investment dollars and when they do raise money, they raise half the capital compared to their male counterparts. Worse, the capital gap widens for women of color. Of all venture capital raised in in the past decade latinx women-led startups raised 0.32% and black women raised 0.0006%.
