SilverSpun is the no-stink, no-germs, and super cozy American made cotton yarn infused with pure silver, making it perfect for the foot of the sock where odor-causing bacteria can develop. The leg is knit using a yarn that is 50% recycled wool and 50% recycled plastic bottles. These socks do double-duty for both outdoor activities and cozy nights in.

Through her curiosity and love of knitting, Laurie discovered the magical and therapeutic properties of yarn spun with pure silver. Soon after, she learned her new favorite material was not produced in the US. She set out to change that.
Teaming up with NC State University, they created the first hand-knitting yarn combining US-grown cotton and pure silver, a revolutionary yarn that is as warm as wool, soft as butter, kills odor-causing germs, and conducts energy.
At Silver Spun, Laurie has created a collection of limited-run cozy socks that are kind to your skin and the world around you.

Less is more - you don't need to wash the socks as frequently because of silver's antibacterial properties. However, when you do wash them, machine wash cold on gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. Do not dry clean or iron.
