Finding that the traditional greeting card aisle doesn’t reflect the beautiful messiness and colorfulness of our actual lives, Janine started Kwohtations to create cards and usable art that represent and celebrate diverse identities and experiences.

Janine believes that representation matters, and humor is critical to savoring the good times and surviving the bad. She hopes that others will recognize themselves in Kwohtations, and feel a bit more seen, more connected, and less alone.
